The Metro Manila Health Research and Development Consortium (MMHRDC) has participated in the 17th Philippine National Health Research System (PNHRS) Week Celebration. It is a 4-day event held at Almont Inland Resort, Butuan City – hosted by Caraga Health Research and Development Consortium (CHRDC), with the theme: Leveraging Global Networks in Advancing the National Health Research System.
Competition events included a 3-minute pitch to policymakers, research poster contest, oral research paper competition, and consortium poster exhibit contest.
This consortium is pleased to announce that Francis Kenneth Araya has placed 3rd in the Student Category of the Oral Research Paper Presentation; while the MMHRDC has placed 1st for the reintroduced PNHRS Consortium Poster Contest, which was presented by Dr. Jerome Cleofas, Chair of the MMHRDC Capacity Building Committee, and creatively designed by Lawrence Macalalad, an MS student at the University of the Philippines Manila.
