The Metro Manila Health Research and Development Consortium, led by the Research Management Committee, hosted the AIHO Workshop: Research Priority Setting Workshop on May 9, 2023. This workshop provided the opportunity to prioritize critical health research areas, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources for maximum health impact.

Participants from various universities and institutions were invited to share their expertise and perspectives, thereby enhancing the depth and breadth of discussions during the workshop.

The workshop fostered small group discussions, wherein participants collectively generated initial health research topics and systematically presented and deliberated upon them during plenary sessions. This enabled comprehensive discussions and, ultimately, facilitated the ranking of health research priorities for both the RUHRA and the NUHRA.
