MMHRDC is one of the regional arms of the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD). It is one of the regional health research consortia of the country under the PNHRS and was founded with the aim of strengthening the system of collaboration among health research institutions in Metro Manila. It also aimed to develop and enhance the research capacity of institutions.
