The Metro Manila Health Research and Development Consortium, led by the Research Utilization Committee, hosted a webinar on mental health in collaboration with De La Salle University on August 25, 2023. The event, conducted via Zoom, centered around the topic “Sociocultural Factors of Mental Health and Well-Being: Exemplars from Youth and Emerging Adulthood Research.”
Distinguished speakers from different universities presented their research, including presentations on “LGBT+ Mental Health among Young Filipinos,” the “Association Between Levels of Media Usage and Levels of Psychological Distress among Filipino Emerging Adults,” and “COVID-19 Time, Hope, and Despair for Filipino University Students: Insights from a Nationwide Study.”
These presentations offered insights, sparked discussions, and encouraged collaboration on mental health challenges.
