The Metro Manila Health Research and Development Consortium, led by the Research Utilization Committee, hosted a webinar on nanotechnology in collaboration with St. Luke’s Medical Center and Melancon Laboratory, MD Anderson Cancer Center on November 7, 2023. The event, conducted via Google Meet, centered around the topic “Applications of Nanotechnology in Vascular Diseases.”
The event commenced with an introduction to nanotechnology, followed by presentations from distinguished speakers on “Inferior Vena Cava Filters for the Prevention of Pulmonary Embolism,” the “Penvascular Wrap for Arteriovenous Maturation and Long-Term Patency,” and “Vascular Grafts for Small Vessel Disease.”
These presentations showcased significant advancements in medical technology through nanotechnology, fostering collaboration for future healthcare innovations.
